One couldn't have asked for a better representation of the now renamed Vokalakademie Berlin, which used to be called „Innsbruck Festival Chorus“. All the refinements of the choir members' singing, the weaved solo parts through the dramatic coloraturas and the irruptive tutti-parts, all were savored; everything: ductile approach with the not emphasized endings, ecstatic singing of the emphasized endings were celebrated attentively by the choir conductor, Frank Markowitsch. Also the voice coaching of the talented singer Regina Jakobi were acknowledged by frantic applause.

The performance was dominated by the magnificent Innsbruck Festival Chorus, which Frank Markowitsch has made into a leading ensemble, in only two short years.
